I chose this cruise because it was a 10 day cruise and our friends have not been to these islands but we have seen them before. We drove to Ft. Lauderdale so embarkation and disembarkation was easy. Easy parking as well. Our favorite island is Aruba and St. Thomas. Grand Turk was great. Not a fan of Dominica or Grenada. We went on 4 excursions and they were ok. This is our 3rd cruise on Princess. The ship is older but doesn’t show it. I prefer the smaller ships. Went on the Oasis and it’s just too big. Horizon buffet is very good however trying to find a table was very hard. Need more smaller tables for 4 people. 2 people would table up a whole table for 6 to 8. We do Anytime dining. We always got right in. Not a fan of the food however. We only went 3 times. I feel people go to this dining if they are first time cruisers. Not worth getting all dressed up to go to this type of dining. Loved the Steakhouse! Liked the pizza and burger restaurants. Also we were disappointed with the Crab dinner you pay extra for. Did this dinner on another ship and it was fantastic. Pool is very COLD but nice. Movies and music by the pool VERY LOUD! Can’t even talk to your friends. Not relaxing by the pool with entertainment blaring. My cabin steward Mario was fantastic! Answered every question. Room was nice and clean. Loved the layout of room. Outdoor bartenders were great but not enough people walking around to get you drinks. Been on a cruise 8 times and I would rate this one a 7. Did not go to any entertainment or casino. Casino smelled like smoke.
