We chose this cruise because we'd had good cruises in the past - however, this one was anything but good.
We were stood in lines outside the terminal for an hour, then stuck inside the terminal for another 2 hours, not moving; just standing, waiting (no seats - some people fainted). There was no notification as to what the problem was. We found out later about the virus problem when we saw how screwed up the ship was (waiting in more and more lines as they went totally overboard with trying to prove to us they were doing everything the CDC required. We could not serve ourselves - even with beverages. I understand there were rules laid down, but they went about it wrong, in our opinion. Too long a story for here.
However, no matter who was serving us, the quality of the food (and service, in some areas) was way down from previous cruises. I actually lost 4 lbs on this 2-week cruise! The excursions were not worth the money (and in fact, some of them were canceled).
The cabin crew were the best thing about the whole cruise.
