This was our 10th cruise with Princess. and other than the problems we had with our cabin, it was an enjoyable one. We were disappointed with Christmas dinner, even though it was enjoyable, Princess didn't cater for a traditional Australian Christmas meal, all of the staff were friendly and helpful, the food was fresh and very tasty wherever you dined.
Drinks were a bit pricey, but your on holidays so enjoy. The shows were entertaining and cruise staff worked hard to entertain us.
The ports that we visited were not what we were expecting, some were beautiful and others were dirty and hard to get around, we didn't go on any ship excursions, preferring to explore in our of time and pace. if we were to go there again we would definitely use the ships tours as they knew the best places to go, and believe me there weren't many.
Our was cabin was large and roomy, but it was under the balcony of the cabin above and the passengers in that cabin liked to rearrange their balcony furniture at all hours of the night. The beds and pillows were to die for, but the bed linen was only changed twice in our 13 day cruise. Our balcony was unusable due to it being covered in water which couldn't escape. The cabin was only vacuumed and dusted twice in 13 days, the first time being on the 6th day and the second on the 12th day. The shower curtain had blood on it and of the robe sash as had blood on it. the TV didn't work for the first 24 hours and we had to get the plumber twice for our shower, and last but not least the two overhead lights both had one screw missing so they rattled whenever the ship was in motion, all of the problems were reported to our room steward.
