We as a couple and as a group have cruised the Carribian many times and we were looking to travel somewhere different. This cruise certainly filled that requirement!
Arriving at Barcelona Airport we found out there was a Taxi strike. Taxis parked all over the main roads, we spent two additional days prior to the Cruise Touring this beautiful City, upon boarding we found the ship to To meet our every desire, Morocco with the exception of the Mosque and “ Ricks Cafe” was a bit of a disappointment. The Canery Islands were spectacular! The Volcano Trek is incorrectly listed it should be a class 3-4 out of 5
Between the elevation and steep terrain not to mention the pace of the tour it certainly should be upgraded for Safety reasons.and if you have any Heart, weight or mobility issues to take a different Tour!
Portugal is wonderful and scenic, the Rock of Gibraltar tour Driven by a retired Local Police Officer “Tony” was among the highlights of our trip Along with Sagarita Familia in Barcelona led by David, among other excursions we took a Tapas Walking tour, our guide Ana did a great job bringing local heritage and food together and “Wine always Wine” I recommend since debarking from the ship and a late afternoon Flight to better utilize your time by taking another tour or Senic bus ride until your flight requires your presence, Asfar as the Ship goes getting on or off was easy, our Cabin Steward Mohammad was a pleasure to speak with and did his job well, dining,Casinos, and especially the Blue Moon was excellent.
I found the upper decks wonderful for reading.this trip was a wonderful, relaxing, adventure and worth the time and investment
As previously stated Our Attendant did a wonderful job.
Our tour was awesome, David spoke with passion about his town and Country, his extensive Knowledge of the town and Goudy and the Park were impressive, he was not pushy but rather seemed genuinely interested in his tour guests. I would definitely recommend his servicesView All 124 La Sagrada Familia Reviews
The Mosque tour was a very interesting exposure to the Muslim faith. The Detail and effort put forth in its construction are spectacular. Lunch at “Ricks Cafe” was very good and a memorable experience We were brought to a Fruit and vegetable market no purchase was allowed since we could not bring food onto the ship. So it was pointless . also we were brought to a Berber carpet store where we were under the impression we would see how these Magic Carpets were made. Instead it was nothing more than a High Pressure sales pitch commercial, lastly we were taken to a Snake oil salesman who tried to encourage our group to purchase various cosmetic oils. When no one stepped up to make a purchase the salesman turned a bit sour and left.
A bit deceiving this tour is improperly listed As a class 2 tour. It should be at a minimum a 3 and possibly a 4. The terrain is treacherous with steep slopes and narrow passages if you have any type of Heart, mobility or altitude issues take another tour !!!View All undefined undefined Reviews
Found a Taxi, negotiated a price of 20 euro each and for that we got a grand tour.stopped.5 times to see sights and take photos there was a slight communication barrier but it was overcome with a translator on his phone puerto Del Cruise was beautiful the food and Coffee were wonderful, we agreed to meet back at a bakery in one hour and he was right on time. Wonderful bus tour and then a cable car up the the highest peak. Where we viewed the Scenes from the bus ride on foot, the church and surrounded grounds were peaceful and beautiful children in a local school came out at 1200 noon formed a large heart and sang we are the World. Sampled the local coffee and pastries which were rich and strong. Another great city and tour
Highlight of cruise! The guide was a retired Local Police Officer who’s knowledge of the area was amazing ,he explained in great detail what we were to see and many of the local areas not usually viewed by other tourists, The Caves were magnificent with amazing acoustics and passageways. The trip back to the main bus was awe inspiring. And informative. An excellent adventure. Don’t miss thisView All undefined undefined Reviews
