We chose this cruise because some friends were interested in it and we decided to try it. We read the reviews before we went and were somewhat apprehensive as to what it would be like. We've previously cruised a lot on Celebrity and Princess and also on Holland and Royal. I have to say that pretty much everything about this cruise was terrific! Here are my pros and cons:

Pros:

Great great food in the specialty restaurants--we ate at Cagneys, Ocean Blu, Moderno, Le Bistro, La Cucina, and the Japanese restaurant. Each one was amazing--the best of any cruise line we've been on. We enjoyed the food in the Manhattan and in Taste and Savor although the service in those dining venues was slower and just okay. The atmosphere was very nice and I like the idea of the music in the Manhattan but it was very loud and we were at the opposite end of the room. The buffet was fine for breakfast and lunch. I thought there were plenty of choices. We grabbed a snack at O'Sheenans a couple times and the wings were good and breakfast one morning and it was good. Read more
