This was our second cruise. Previous was on Carnival Valor. It "WAS" an annual anniversary trip. NOT ANYMORE!!!

Here are some of the "highlights" - I told Carnival I would not stop telling everyone till they compensated me for a replacement cruise or at least half price. We got a $100 on board credit for our next cruise. I got food poisoning on the first night after my grilled chicken was served very undercooked. I noticed it was rubbery but didn't think alot about it but the taste was worse with every bite. 2 days I spent in my cabin vomiting. So much for the endless drinks package we bought. Cigarette ash and butts were being dropped on us while on our deck. 2 decks above, we saw them. We tried reporting it many times and showed them the butts on our deck. NOTHING done. Serenity bar was closed the entire cruise. The hot tubs back there were barely bath warm and when many of us (8) at that time tried to ask then to turn it up the guy spoke no english and couldn't understand. Then finally said something about maintenance and nobody ever came. Room service - 3 attempts - Received our food once after we stood in the doorway and waited the whole time. Since they don't actually knock. The pieces a rusty overhead metal falling on a group of us while sitting in the serenity area didn't please us either. And the deck we paid extra for was a joke. Glass could never be seen through as had a disgusting yellow film all over it so if we wanted to look out we had to stand the whole time. Many more events but by this time they may seem petty as we were already very pissed. Oh, btw the King bed isn't a king. Its 2 twins put together making it a Queen. Talk about false advertising.

I was asked to add more about our onboard experience. I honestly don't know what else to say. There was so much negative on this cruise that any positive was hard to notice. We did get to watch Mama Mia 2. That was a highlight. Sat on deck and watched on big screen above pool. Was very very windy that night but loved our relaxing movie outdoors.
