Overall, this ship was flat out boring. There is no entertainment besides trivia, lame shows, and seminars for the purpose of selling something. The ride through the Mississippi and gulf was extremely bumpy a couple of days during the trip, it is a smaller ship, however. The food was average and super repetitive. I enjoyed Nassau, and Key West, however, Cococay was an absolute joke and scam.
Pros: Specialty dining. Good Service.
Cococay- this place is a flat out scam, it is not the Bahamas, just some little island Royal Caribbean bought. It is a construction warzone. There is nothing open and the shops there are way overpriced, not to mention, they tried to charge $8 for a cocktail inside of a pineapple (deluxe drinking package did nothing to negate the charge). The food was brought from the ship and was bland.
Rough ride- as stated earlier, it was a rough ride for 2 days, it was almost unbearable because of the constant jerking around.
No entertainment- unless you are in your 70s, you will not enjoy any of the lame activities they offer. It is all filler and predicated on selling you more stuff.
Food- way too repetitive and bland.
Nassau was a wonderful experience. The people are nice and the food is amazing.
I enjoyed key west. Good food, cheap shops.
This place is a scam. Nothing but a money grab. Geographically it might be located in the "bahamas" but it is a small, construction warzone with overpriced shops, and activities. Not to mention they will try to charge you $8 for a drink in a pineapple even if you have the deluxe drink package.
