This was our second cruise our first was earlier in the year and was a 4 day sampler on Pacific eden which we loved . Both cruises we have goen into with little expectations we have a pact amongst the family that it will be what it will be and we won’t let anything get us down . Travelling this time was my wife and 2 kids and eldest kids boyfriend .

Firstly this ship is big – you know that by now you’ve seen plenty of pictures but when you arrive at the dock you just can’t prepare yourself for how big it truly is . We had a boarding time of 12.30 and as luck would have it our taxi driver dropped us right on 12.30 however we quickly discovered boarding times mean nothing – the queues were extensive and long and slow , winding round endlessly – finally through passport check and onto the ship ! This was the only real queue we encountered in our 11 days aboard. On board we had a couple of immediate plans – book the escape room and do North Star – both of which were easily done ! Rather than go step by step through our cruise lets look at the good and the not so good – there was no Bad .

The Good .
