This was our 19th Cruise and Our second time with Norwegian Cruise Lines, our first was May of 2018 on the Getaway. The Getaway was a POSITIVE experience, NO Complaints whatsoever. The Food and Sevice Was perfect. The Epic however, was not so enjoyable. To be fair, our embarkation process even though 3 hours in length, but was NOT the fault of Norwegian but a result of bad guest disturbances on the previous cruise. Our main complaint was a badly designed Stateroom. The shower and toilet facilities were the first thing visible when entering the room, very inconvenient, and almost impossible for two people to get cleaned up and ready at the same time. The bed was situated on a curved wall and very short. Anyone over 5’5” would have their feet hanging off the end. Storage was adequate but placed in weird places. The food quality on the buffet was also “adequate” but not as good as the Getaway. The Formal dining at the “Taste” and “Manhattan” Dining rooms was very good. The stage show “Burn the Floor” was one of the best we’ve ever seen, but “Pricilla Queen of the Desert” was the most offensive and disgusting performance we had ever seen on ANY Cruise Line! Primarily because we had not seen the disclaimer prior to entering the venue. If it had been possible, we would have walked out less than 15 minutes into the performance. The disembarkation process was also very long. The area that ourl luggage had been placed in was very hard to locate and the lines were extremely long. That process took almost 2 hours. Perhaps they could find a way to shorten that aspect.

We have never experienced such a bad cabin design in 19 cruises.
