We chose to do a cruise for our brother's & brother-in-law's 65th birthday. He loves cruising, and this was organized as a surprise for him. We have never cruised before except for a river cruise in Europe. We were surprised at how embarkment and disembarkment went so smoothly and organized.

The staff on the ship were top notch, bartenders were fantastic and our cabin steward was a great guy. We had a balcony cabin and loved this. Will certainly only cruise now with a balcony cabin. Entertainment was great on the ship. We did not do any extra activities in the ports for excursions, so cannot speak to that. The only day we spent completely off the ship was in Belize. The island is owned by the cruise line I believe and it was nice to spend a day on the beach without any harassment of people trying to sell us things like in other ports.

We did not have children with us, just four adults. We would go again in a heartbeat, and will sail with Norwegian again. So many things to do if you choose to do them. Read more
