This is our 10th Princess Cruise. We keep coming back because our experiences have been excellent. Embarkation and disembarkation were easy, it took about 15 minutes from the curb to walking up the ramp onto the ship and about the same to get from the ship to customs/immigration. ( The lines there were a bit long but that’s out of the control of Princess.) There were plenty of activities throughout the day: Trivia, Movies on the big screen, lectures, dance lessons, steel drum lessons, crafts, pool games, flair bartender shows, putting contests, simulator skeet shooting, an escape room, and much more. (I do wish that there had been a caricature artist on board.) There was a wide variety of shows, something for everyone, the Beatlemaniacs were especially fun. The house band (under the direction of music director Zack) we’re talented and versatile, playing everything from backing a headliner to small combo jazz to backing an Irish folk singer in a pub setting, ( one of the best shows, don’t miss this one.) Every encounter with service staff was excellent. The wait staff in the dining rooms, buffet, coffee shop and around the pool were attentive and cheerful even though they were at times swamped with customers. The cruise staff were hard working and seemed to always have one or two activities going at all hours. Our room steward cleaned or refreshed our room two or three times a day. We couldn’t have been more pleased. We didn’t do any excursions this trip, we’ve done most of them on past trips. There’s always minor problems on any trip but it seems that Princess tries to assist with any problems we’ve had on our trips with them. I’d go again this week if I could.
