General: Consistent very good service at all activities. Ship never felt crowded and general noise level was pleasantly low.
Eating: All restaurant locations were very nice and varied. Enjoyed all the up graded meals and the usual meals were also very good. Enjoyed the served breakfasts very much, good menu with lots of variety, good service and always seemed to meet pleasant fellow passengers.
Entertainment: Really enjoyed all the live shows each evening. The relatively small cast did a great job of giving us plenty of variety. Really finished off the evening nicely. The classical musical at tea and other locations around the ship was very enjoyable.
Ship: Looked very nice, enjoyed the smart Scandinavian look of the whole ship. Really appreciated the sensible furniture - easy to sit in and comfortable. The Explorers Lounge was a very special place to relax in , have a quiet read and enjoy the fantastic view forward. really enjoyed the sandwiches for lunch.
Shore excursions: Only part of the trip that was below par. Billed by Viking as the included and very special. Some of the shore trips were not very interesting or special.
Very pleasant experience and are taking our second cruise in early May on your Baltic "Viking Homeland" . Looking forward to St Petersburg.
Delux veranda cabin was a nice size for two. excellent bed and nice seating area. Adequate closets and drawers. Like the smart TV for info, scheduled activities and learning presentations.
