First time cruise for 6 couples (2 thirty-somethings couples, 1 retired couple in mid-60s). Booked using rates from Cruise Compete.
After having doing train/ backpacking/ self-directed trips around the world, we decided it was time to try cruising and a vacation where we didn't have so much planning. The deals were so great, we even convinced some of our family to go with us. Here were our general impressions / tips:
Ship was recently refurbished and looked great. The decor isn't ultra modern, too fancy, or over-the top. Would equate it to a late 90's Hilton.
Cabin Review
Balcony
Nice closet with big open space for hanging clothes. HUGE balcony. Small bathroom with tiny shower. Room was nice and quiet. A little more movement felt being up front of the ship, but you don't hear the engine noise from the rear.
