I had sailing into New York Harbour on my yet to do bucket list, plus although we have covered much of Canada we had not touched the eastern side so this was an ideal choice.
We have sailed on Arcadia before and enjoyed the fact that it was child free. Because it was transatlantic both ways so a number of days at sea we chose to book a suite. The brochure description sounded great and we were given a choice. Booking in for suites and in our case Peninsular club entitlement we sailed straight through at Southampton and provided with a meal, champagne and wine so a great start. Our luggage was in the suite and we were greeted by both the Butler and cabin steward.
The Cairo Suite was lovely, Wardrobes for both his and hers plus a dressing area and dressing table well lit in a separate area, wonderful. The bathroom was a good size with dual sinks storage for toiletries etc, separate shower and a full size whirlpool bath. The main area was a good size great bed, plenty of storage, nice comfortable arm chairs and settee plus table, desk etc. The balcony was a super size plenty of room for sunbeds chairs and table.

In fact everything including the decor was great and very enjoyable. Nice touch was being served breakfast in Sindhu every morning.
