The ships are first class, the entertainment is interesting and entertaining, the food is first class and the on board lecture series is a great way to learn more about the world we live in. Overall, Viking earns its reputation as one of the top cruise lines in the world. If you want casino gambling and glitzy Broadway style productions go to Las Vegas or Newman York; if you want a kid friendly playground go to Disney BUT if you want a great cruise for discriminating and curious adults sail with Viking!

Not often mentioned is the very nice fitness centers on Viking ships, they are a great way to loosen up or work out while traveling and keep those extra pounds at bay! And from a food perspective Viking offers so many different, all included, options that we frequently had trouble making a decision. Manfredi’s is a first class restaurant, an Italian Steakhouse but we also love the World Cafe where the food is always plentiful, delicious and very easy to what we want, how much we want, when we want it and always with excellent service...also a nice way to meet new friends!
