Having cruised on Diamond Princess from Auckland to Sydney last February, we decided, thankfully,to escape the worst winter Britain has had in years by joining the repositioning cruise from Sydney to Bangkok on 21st February. We were not disappointed! This was our 5th cruise and 3rd on Princess, and in all honesty, we could not find fault with anything.

We flew out via Hong Kong where we spent several very cold, damp days, and then headed on down to sunny Sydney for a few days before boarding the magnificent Diamond Princess in Circular Quay.

Embarkation was completed very quickly and efficiently and our luggage arrived promptly in our cabin. Our steward, Julio, was perhaps the best cabin steward we have ever had, being courteous and helpful at all times. We enjoyed the larger balcony on Caribe deck having been on Aloha on previous cruises.

Caribe C312 Category BA

An excellent cabin, close to lifts and all amenities. Caribe has much larger balconies although the only downside could be that you are overlooked by those on Baja and Aloha! Plenty of storage, no complaints whatsoever!
