Overall, 14 day Hawaii from Long Beach was a great time. We thought the 8 full days would be too long at sea, but it was nice to see the full ship and experience things that we hadn't before due to time restrictions. The ship's design is not very good. The decor is very garish and worn down. There was what looked like mold on the roof of one deck. The main pool was closed more days than it was open. This is due to all the activities on the Lido deck. Why would ballroom dance lessons be conducted beside the pool? There were quite a few other areas that were never used at all. The food was blah. Not a great selection. If you didn't like the dish offered, there was only pizza as an alternative, as all the dining areas offered the same menu for that night. The burger/hotdogs stand was only open a few hours a day, so that wasn't an option either. Overall a good vacation.

Ship needs an update
