First off, any cruise is a good cruise. We had a very enjoyable cruise on the Bliss. The ship is beautiful. The bar staff, wait staff, shore excursion and guest services staff were all friendly and helpful. We were originally booked on the Synchrony of the Seas for this week and switched to the Bliss for the Thermal Spa Suite. It was well worth it. Cagney’s, The District Brewhouse, Observation Lounge and the Spa Thermal Suites were excellent. The reason for the average rating follow. There is not enough space for the passengers onboard. I don’t use the casino and having it placed in the middle of the ship in the public traffic area is a poor design (kudos for the enclosed smoking area, it does help). The Atrium as an event venue is awful, the Taste and Savor dining room and bar area create a block in the passage of people on the deck. The Haven, Vibe, Laser rag and Racetrack take to much of the sun/pool deck space and seem to be under utilized areas. There is no room to walk. Pool is to small for the size of the ship. The adult area, Spice H2O, should not be the smoking area on the ship. There needs to be a place for adults to go and have a relaxing, smoke free sea day. The jogging/walking track is very small and is blocked by chairs and people during the day. The outdoor seating for the specialty restaurants is very under utilized and could be used for something else. We had a spa balcony cabin and it was very small and cramped. The elevator call system needs to be reprogrammed, it is very inefficient.

We did NCL excursions in Tortola and Miami. Escape to Jost Van Dyke in Tortola on the Rebel Yell was absolutely beautiful and would definitely do it again. In Miami we did the Everglades air boat tour and it was fantastic. I would highly recommend both.

Overall, we had a great cruise but will probably will not cruise on this Bliss again.

Cabin B9

Great location. Felt small. Only had about 1 foot between the bed and the wall and the bed and the balcony door.

Got a day pass at RIU Palace. Water was beautiful. The rest of the experience was okay. Will not return.
