i choose to get away this winter for two weeks and i found it to be so pleasurable i would certainly do it again given the chance. my only complaints were the main dining rooms of savor, taste and the manhatten were extremely slow. many times we had to leave the restaurant before dessert to see the 730 shows that were scheduled. the food was excellent except for the lunch menu which remained the same for 14 days. dinner menu changed daily. we also tried two specialty restaurants - cagney's (steak) excellent service, food, la cucino - again lacking in service food average. entertainment included two broadway plays (after midnight and the brat pack) very very good and numerous bands throughout the ship which were exceptionally talented singers. i especially enjoyed the ventriliquest and juggler comic. i found the entertainment first rate along with the food quality. we did not do the buffet. as far as ports, the river tubing on the white river was fabulous. we also did the turtle sanctuary in grand cayman and airboat adventure in port canaveral.(both enjoyable) i also especially liked costa maya where the many of the locals were performing some air defying acts. all in all it was a very enjoyable vacation. i might add we had the drink and gratuity package which allowed us to pay up front and not have to worry about anything on drinks or tips on our bill at the end which i understand now ncl is charging 20 percent gratuity on a drink on their drink package and now are not offering the gratuity package which were great perks. oh yea, the app of ncl needs work for purchasing their shore excursions. 3 x we had to go down to the desk to correct what the app did not do! would do 2 weeks and ncl again
