Fantastic 1st crossing & to visit our son in Barcelona. So 1 way: San Juan to BCN was perfect. I am a yachtsman & navigator, so appreciate the perfect sized Viking Sky, while my darling spouse appreciates the top quality cruise amenities & modern stabilizers to glide the ship across the tropical Atlantic Ocean. Weather was far warmer than expected. Sea was calm or following after 1st 2 days. Food was always great. Breakfast in our suite was gratis & varied. I give a A+ to the on-board enrichment speakers: (3 are noted here). A professor on Christopher Columbus & his era, President Reagan's secret service retired guard & ocean life & whale expert who stayed on deck for many dawn & auspicious moments to spot & discuss sea life. This great experience has led us to again cruise Viking along the west coast of Europe from BCN to Denmark in April 2019. Bravo! Viking ships
