The customer service and staff are excellent. Embarkation in Miami was smooth but did include a long line, even for those with priority status. Ship cards are provided at check in, but must be activated onboard with a credit card at little kiosks located around the Atrium area. There is no rush, as you have 48 hours to activate your card. Cabins were ready by 1 p.m. and suitcases arrived a few hours later. Lunch was available in the buffet.
The ship in general appeared clean and beautiful, but looking a bit ready for her next dry dock reconditioning with a few frayed edges on chairs and carpets.
Onboard accounts can be viewed on the cabin television, but Divina doesn't offer a mobile app. If passengers need to communicate onboard, social media apps can be used if ship wi-fi is purchased.
My Interior cabin to myself on deck 9 had a comfortable mattress and pillows, desk, plenty of drawers and closet space, and nice sized bathroom with shelves and glass shower doors. My family of three was in their own Oceanview cabin on deck 5 with a large porthole window and pull-down bunk beds, two chairs, desk, lots of storage and very roomy. They were happy with their cabin and liked the central location near the Atrium; although there were two problems. It was always warm even on the lowest cool setting, but they did not report the issue. The toilet had some functional issues at least twice, and required maintenance calls. Stewards for both cabins were excellent.
