This was our first river cruise and we loved it. We have been on a couple ocean cruises previously but we liked the river cruise much better. The personal attention we received was great and the much smaller passenger number made things much more enjoyable. The activities and excursions were well planned and organized. Our cabin was just the right size, clean and well maintained. Our dining experience was excellent with always having delicious choices from the menus. The staff was very personable and helpful, we enjoyed conversing with them. Although the entertainment was not on the scale of a cruise ship it was quite adequate and enjoyable. The optional excursions, which we took advantage of, were excellent. The excursion group sizes were kept small enough that everyone was able to move about without crowding into confined spaces. The wireless audio devices we each had made it very easy to hear what our guides to say.

We liked our cruise so much that we signed up for the Paris to Zurich Cruise that will be in March.
