Sail Date: Jan 2019
The Baths at Virgin Gorda

This was our third Viking Ocean cruise. We have previously sailed on Viking Star with the same or similar Caribbean itinerary at the same or similar time of year i.e. January and also with Viking Sky to Central America and the Panama Canal over Christmas and New Year 207/18.

This cruise had a slightly different Caribbean itinerary, in that we visited Dominica and Barbados. The latter is missed on a New Year cruise. We enjoyed this cruise as much if not even more than on the Viking Star for New Year 2016/17.

The Meet and Mingle party enabled us to meet other cruisers from Cruise critic and also chat to the delightful Cruise Director, Jenna Beaudoin and also to the impeccable and highly efficient Hotel General manager, Tom Aberg and other officers. The ship laid on some great canapes and a selection of cocktails in the Wintergarden. A great way to start our holiday.

Cabin Review

Cabin Deluxe Veranda

Such a comfortable bed and a beautiful environment. Our stewards Jermaine and Vigi worked so hard and never intruded. Everything shipshape and perfect. The bathroom design is very clever.

St. Thomas

Been before and so we went back to Coki Point beach to feed the fishes and go snorkelling
