We are frequent cruisers but this was our first time on Holland America. We were entirely impressed. This line has it all over the others when it come to service and good food. Buffet is handled in a way which prevents all that food waste that undoubtedly contributes higher prices and less appealing food. Everything on board was professional and oriented toward customer satisfaction. Met some great people and our fellow cruisers were mostly polite and enjoyable people. The pool was very nice and a great spot on sea days. The entertainment was about on par with most lines (except maybe MSC). Activities on board during the day were somewhat limited. We like smaller ships of this size so it was perfect for us. Others might prefer the new larger ships. The crew is just amazing, always friendly and helpful. We now rank our favorite lines as
