Cabin: Edge Veranda Stateroom

New ship, and I booked two different cabins to get to a feel of the new ship. Very disappointed with all the changes that have been made with this new ship. There are so many things missing that have always been on the Solstice class ships like the big grand foyer that goes up 7 or 8 floors. No library, card room, info sheet on embarkation about the top staff like the Captain, cruise director, etc.No Sudoku. crossword puzzles, daily news paper with many different languages. No sky lounge, no reclining chairs on the balconies. We had a sunset veranda for our 2nd week and had a big balcony but only had very small chairs and a small low table, like in the infinite balcony which are way too small and not usable.

Theater is too small, and the acoustics are terrible. The entertainment was terrible. Yes, the production people are very talented, however we don't want production shows 10 out of our 14 nights. Comedians are cheap, get some good entertainment like X used to have years ago. The singer sounded like she was shouting, not singing.

You had a winner with the Solstice, Stick with it.

Cabin Review

Edge Veranda Stateroom

Cabin E1

Too small and the infinite balcony is not a balcony. It is an oceanview with a window that opens sometimes.
