Wanted to enjoy Carnival's largest ship but was disappointed with some of the ways things are done on this ship. The ship is beautiful, the crew is wonderful but some of the procedures and design of space is poor. Your time dining check-in is ridiculous...check-in midship at a desk to then be sent to aft dining room on a different deck, no, no, no. The Liquid Lounge is too small with poor seating arrangement. The cigarette smoke in the casino is unnecessarily extensive. A no smoking portion of the casino is necessary. The number of non-smokers far exceeds smokers but the smokers are getting preferential treatment. Embarkation procedures are great. Debarkation was okay except the procedure is really slow. Getting to your car at 11:00 am is really late in our experience. The food on this cruise was probably the best we have been served in nearly 30 cruises over the past 10 years. The choices in the main dining room were wonderful and the preparation and presentation was superb. The buffet choices were also great. We didn't try and specialty dining. Why pay extra when the included choices are so good! Overall I would probably cruise on Vista again. But I highly recommend some procedural changes need to be made regarding your time dining. The entertainment is geared for a much younger crowd.

Love the cove balconies on Carnival Vista. The design of the closet space could have been better. Our cabin attendant was very good.
