My boyfriend and I had our first ever cruise experience on the Regal Princess, and I couldn't be happier. It exceeded our expectations in every way. We can't wait to sail with Princess again!

Embarkation/First Impressions - Getting to the port from the airport was a breeze, just a quick $20 cab ride. We arrived at around 12:00 and were on the ship by 12:30! We immediately noticed how beautiful the ship was when we entered the piazza. There was live music and crew members were greeting us along our way to our room. We couldn't wait to check out the rest of the ship.

Dining - Dining on the ship made us feel like royalty. We went to lunch in the main dining room on the first day and had some great meals. The dinners were even better. Every night, the menu had something exciting. The food was always fresh tasting and was presented beautifully. When we ordered drinks at dinner, they arrived quickly and were always exactly what we ordered. The wait staff were ALL incredibly happy and polite, not to mention great at their jobs. Seriously, the service on the ship was unbelievable. The buffet was also really good with so many options, it was hard to decide what to get! We had breakfast at the buffet every day except one. Alfredo's, the complimentary specialty pizzeria, was an amazing choice for lunch one day. I wish we ate there again. I ordered a pizza with prosciutto and tomatoes and it was so delicious. The tiramisu was the perfect end to that meal. The gelato shop in the piazza was great for an afternoon or late night snack. The gelato was delicious and reasonably priced at $1.50 per scoop or $3.00 for a fancy sundae.

We went to our stateroom on the Emerald deck immediately after boarding at 12:30, and it was already ready for us. My first impression was that the room was spectacular. It was clean, spacious, and best of all, the balcony was incredible. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, the room had plenty of storage, and the curtains were great to black out the sun in the morning if you wanted to sleep in a little. Within minutes, our luggage had already arrived! We were greeted by our steward, Raymund, who was spectacular. He brought us complimentary robes and introduced himself. Throughout our stay, Raymund was extremely helpful, friendly, and took great care of us.
