We choose this for christmas sailed dec. 23 - 31 of 2018 . This was also my first cruise and everyone was telling me what to expect,well it was not at all what they said . The ship was very out dated the rooms were at best average but they were clean and the bed slept well . The food on the ship was awful and we didn't get to choose what time we could dine they set us for the late dining and that meant we couldn't see the shows because they were at the same time or around the same time as the late dinning which was 8:15 pm i never eat that late , we ate there twice and watched them bring out food in covered dishes and they were set on a table off to the side for awhile before the waiters picked them up and served them to the tables not use to seeing that . there were a few things that were ok but not what we expected . The enertainment was ok but nothing special. Service was good the staff was very friendly and most helpfull. As far as the shore excursions ... That was a joke we were going to the zipline and cave tubing in belize getting off the ship and to the group off the ship was so unorganized and we waited forever it was 4 hours before we ever got to the place after we were to meet that morning they had to rush us thru the caves because we were so far behind schedule and then they run us thru the jungle to get to the zipline i really didn't think i was going to make it i was so out of breath . Our friend that was with us felt so bad that she had talked us into going on this cruise said that she had been on this same cruise 3 years prior and that this was so unorganized and not at all like 3 years ago and yes it was a christmas cruise. We spent right at $4000.00 and did not get at all what we expected for the money we spent .oh and by saturday we were so sick throat hurting bad and coughing non stop. Then we were expecting to port at 7am and did not get to port until 6pm and as i said we were both sick and also our friends that went with us because of the fog, i was so ready to get off that ship !!! i will not do it again lesson learned no more christmas cruises for us !!!
