Sail Date: Apr 2018
Cabin: Balcony

We choose this ship because we are amateur ballroom dancers who want to dance every night on a large floor. We were NOT disappointed! In addition there were 3 dance hosts, lots of lessons offered in the morning, and great bands and singers for ballroom EVERY NIGHT before and after dinner!

Their shows are not as great as Royal Caribbean, but everything else -- service, food, rooms, excursions, etc -- was just wonderful! (they don't really cater to children in any big way)

If you like ballroom dancing every night along with a wonderful cruise, Cunard is the place to be! Doesn't matter which ship you choose, you will luv it! They often run specials so watch for them! You won't see them on any of the discount sites though since they usually sell out on their own!

Cabin Review

Balcony

I have come to find out that all cruise ships use the same cabin manufacturer -- if you are inside your cabin you would have no idea what cruise line you are on, since they are all exactly the same.

Port Reviews

Valencia

Lisbon, Portugal is not on the list here, but it was wonderful. We hired a guide after we got off the ship and WOW! So great! We even went to Fatima to see the site of Virgin Mary!

He took us to all the best local spots as well as tourist ones and let us choose what we wanted to attend! Also cheaper than excursions if you want to see the area.

Taormina (Messina)

Once again the port is not listed, but we toured the Canary Islands with Cunard. How wonderful! Again we hired a guide outside the ship and it was really great! He took us wherever we wanted to go, described our different options and gave us a great price!

We did this in both the Canary Islands we visited and really had a fabulous time and feel like we really came to know the culture!
