We did, as we have done before, a modified back to back cruise- New Years week on the Edge and the second week on The Harmony of the Seas. We had problems getting a cab from the Edge pier to the Harmony pier- we also had a bad cab driver who took us to the wrong place-I think he did it on purpose to avoid the crowds. Should have reported him but didn't take his number.

Since we have previously been on this ship we knew what to expect. The ship is as beautiful as ever. Public rooms great-On our bucket list was to try a Crown loft suite. It didn't disappoint! Huge with two full bathrooms , loads of storage and a view to die for! Two stores bedroom on upper level. We had seen the suite on youtube and it didn't disappoint. The service was excellent and our cabin attendents were great. We had a great location, overlooking the ocean and on the 17th deck near the suite lounge and restaurant. The suite concierges, Jerimia and Checkers were great- They helped secure our dining and cabana reservations. With a suite, it isn't necessary to make show reservations, they reserve an area at each show for suite guest- this is for Grand suite and above. The dining was very good- enjoyed breakfast every morning in the suite restaurant- Lunch we had a couple of times at Johnny Rockets which was an extra charge restaurant- but my DH really enjoys the junk food- you can get a decent salad their also. You can dine at JR for breakfast- for free and get a nice omelet if you want as the buffet didn't have an omelet station. But the suite restaurant did. We enjoyed th hibatchi experience at Izumi. Since it is very limited, reserve before the cruise so as not to miss out. If you come with children a must. We didn't dine at the park cafe this cruise, but nice to be able to get a sandwich or salad and a good option if you don't was to go to the restaurant or buffet-for lunch or breakfast. We also enjoyed dinner at Chops Grille and Jamie's Italian. Didn't go to the others this trip. But Chops and Jamie's our favorites.

The entertainment is a 10 plus. Grease was broadway quality as was Columbus the Musical. The Aqua and Ice skating shows were fabulous. The adult comedian at the Attic was so funny! So much entertainment all over the ship and nightly something great in the promenade- such talent on this ship. We didn't go into the casino- unfortunately had to walk through it a few times. It was horrible- so smokey If you do not smoke or are afraid of second had smoke, try to avoid. Royal do what Celebrity has done a do not allow smoking in the Casino.
