We have cruised with Princess on numerous ocassions. We also have sailed to Hawaii over the Christmas Holidays. There were many younger passengers who, for the most part, behaved very well. Actually, the older adults were the problem when getting in and out of the elevators. They were rude and piled their way into the elevators before allowing the guests to exit. We felt the entertainment was very good during our cruise. There was one fellow who pretended to be a musician/comedian who wasn't funny at all. We had some deaf passengers onboard and this entertainer at one point made fun of them and actually mocked their way of communicating with each other. The audience didn't appreciate this.
Our cabin steward was probably the best we have ever had. So friendly, nice and attentive. We selected AnyTime Dining which turned out very nice. We met with two other couples who were fabulous. We stayed away from the constant ads from Effy and their sales. The food in The Horizon Court was good, not great, as in the past. We enjoined The British Pub Lunch. The captain was the very best we have ever experienced. Sharon, the naturalist, was terrific!! Overall, this was a very nice cruise.
Cabin steward, Helen, was great and took good care of us.
