I realized at the last minute my college aged daughter and high school aged daughter had time off school at the same time. I picked this cruise because the port is drive able, last minute airfare was cost prohibitive.

We got there at 11:30a and walked right on, with our own bags. We are Platinum and waltzed right in after checking in.

The Dream is not the newest ship but I love the classic look. I was very nervous at the safety drill hearing the adult:kid ratio for this sailing. Carnival security was stepped up and present everywhere did an amazing job keeping things in check, firm but kind. Several announcements were made reminding parents to be parents.
