We chose the Mediterranean Odyssey 12-day cruise because of the itinerary offered. All of the ports were cities/countries we wanted to visit. Our cabin was large, impeccable and very comfortable. Everyone from our cabin steward, guest services, bar and restaurant servers, etc. treated us like royalty. We enjoyed the opportunity to dine casually or fine dining in the other restaurants. We had a great selection of entrees and wines from the region we had visited that day. We also enjoyed the diversified evening entertainment and music. Our shore excursions were included in the cost of the cruise and were well planned and on-time. My only complaint is that sometimes we didn’t have much time after the tours to explore and shop or eat as we had to shuttle back to the ship. We enjoyed the intimacy of cruising on a small ship and would highly recommend VIKING for your travels. VIKING is top notch from embarkation to disembarkation!
