We decided to cruise for the holidays and visit in California. We boarded the ship after a flight to Fort Lauderdale. We got into the airport about 1:30 and after a short cab ride we boarded the ship without a line. We did Alaska on this ship about 5 years ago. We were on the Dolphin deck with a balcony on the starboard side. The rooms and the ship are showing signs of age. We were a little concerned about too many children with a Christmas trip but it wasn’t a problem. We would have enjoyed a little more music during the day in the middle area of the ship. The nightly entertainment was good and we enjoyed most of the shows.

The staff on the ship was helpful and they all seemed friendly and outgoing.

The meals were just ok.

The room was clean but the beds and the carpet needed to be replaced. TV remote was broken.
