Tour with Tony's Trike Tours at Bay of Islands looking back to the ship

This was the 2nd time that I had traveled on Majestic Princess, I was very excited to experience this new ship for a longer period than last time and get a true feel for it and with my hubbie.

The first time was in November for only 4 nights and then for this one over New Year. The main difference for us, was the amount of people on board. Even though November the ship was "sold out", it had a lot less people and space could be found in Hollywood Pool Club and the main theater. On the New Years cruise it was so full due to the amount of triple and quad share cabins. You had to get to a deck chair early if you wanted one as they were always full. Also to see a show, you had to be there a minimum of 30 mins before the show started to get a seat, which is insane.

Good points:

Cabin Review

Deluxe Balcony (obstructed view)

Cabin DW

We had an obstructed balcony on deck 8 (E509) and it was larger and had a great view still. Even if you sit on the seats, you still see over it easily. Love that Princess also do free in house movies when you want to relax in the cabin and don't charge like most cruise lines. Our room steward (Bombie) always had our room looking like new and half the time you never saw him. They work so hard and are such a credit to the company.
