Had a wonderful cruise on the Vision over New Year's 2018/19. The food was great (too great, I gained weight for the first cruise of the last four!) And the service was amazing. While we enjoyed the "my time" dining, the hostess were always accommodating if we wanted to dine a little earlier in the main dining room. We were seated in the same section each time, therefore the waiter and his associates were able to remember who we were and what we liked, not to mention our names! Our experience was great as well in the Windjammer. Tables were cleaned almost immediately after folks left or plates were emptied. Staff was always willing to help anyway they could. Entertainment was abound. There was always something to do. We ended up spending much time Schooner playing games (trivia, scattagories, etc.). Night entertainment was generally later than we liked (just can't stay up as late as I used to), so only heard one of the comedians, and he was great.

Our cabin was a standard forward balcony. The storage in that cabin was amazing! We actually had storage areas we didn't even use! Shower was a bit small and the shower curtain liked to get a bit personal some days, but overall the layout of the lavatory was fine.

We had just sailed on the Norwegian Star over Thanksgiving 2018 and were able to compare the two ships and crew and I must say, I was a Norwegian fan, but am now a Royal fan for sure. So, overall, I would highly recommend the Vision to anyone wishing to sail on a smaller ship with a wonderful captain and crew. I just wish they would stay in NOLA!!! If they would, I would certainly sail her again.
