Majestic Princess Cruise Review by TitanL
- Sail Date: December 2018
- Destination: Australia & New Zealand
- Cabin Type: Deluxe Balcony
The ship itself is lovely and the entertainment very good, food was hit and miss the kitchen trying to pass chicken pieces off as sweetbreads......both Grille and Harmony had good food but Le Mer was a very poor representation of French cuisine. Definitely go to the English Pub lunch at Grille it's the closest you would get to a true pommy experience the sausages are the best I have ever eaten and my wife had the steak and kidney pie with plenty of kidney we went both times it was on.
Drinks are super expensive we were going to do the drink package and decided not too which worked out well just limiting how much you have to drink, cocktails nothing out of the ordinary here compared to other cruise lines.
Entertainment was exceptional but to get a seat in the theatre you had to be there one hour before the show started a lot of people were disappointed.
Shopping was per any ship.
Embarking and disembarking were exceptional smooth we took the baggage with us when leaving the ship.
