Sail Date: Mar 2010

This was our 12Th cruise and we took a walk on the wild side and decided to "try out" Carnival for the very first time. We were enticed by the new ship and great price. After booking the cruise I became ill and was put on a medically supervised diet. CARNIVAL guaranteed that they could accommodate this diet and so we took the chance and sailed on the 6Th of March.

Embarkation: Quick, organized and painless. Exception, they took my guy's blue bottle of Bombay and blamed it on the new Homeland Security directives. So, if you have been sneaking your own booze, the gig is up, it will be taken away. We were allowed to embark as early as 11:30 am but couldn't get into our rooms until 1:30 pm, thus, wear your bathing suit onto the ship and check your carry on when checking onto the ship if you don't want to have to babysit it. Also, be patient with the food lines as everyone is trying to eat at the same time, after this first mad rush to the feeding stall, there are few "long line" or packed seating problems.

Cabins: Great space, CLEAN, clean, clean. Two people can be in the bathroom if necesary at one time, bigger than any other ships we have been on! We had a balcony room, LOVED it.

Cabin Review

Cabin 8

8374 - Adequate closet/storage space, great balcony, can hear hallway noise, convenient location to get to stairs/elevators. Great bathroom, very comfortable, great cabin staff. Bed pillows/linens great, hard beds.
