We are Diamond Plus members and have done many cruises on Royal. Has been pretty good in the past but this time we had way too many small kids everywhere. the adults only solarium contains a "pool" which is nothing more than a glorified hot tub and had sunscreen floating on top of the water. Disgusting. Apparently had 3rd and 4th passenger free during that two weeks period. Worst we had ever experienced. Kids everywhere. The second week we had the best waiter we had ever had on a cruise and the assistant waiter was also very attentive. The champagne brunch and kitchen tour was interesting although we had had better tours of the kitchen area on other smaller ships. The brunch that followed however was terrific. All the champagne and mimosas you could drink. Go our money's worth for sure. We are Diamond Plus members so we get reserved seats for the show and priority embarkation among other perks including free drinks daily.
