Wanted to reward myself on my birthday and seven days in the Caribbean fit the bill. Had always been on smaller Princess ships but the Royal made good use of the additional size in the public areas. As my cruise ended, they were completing fitting the ship for Medallion service.

My assigned table mates were really interesting people and made dinners an extra fun time. I also like the International Cafe for snacks and casual lunches frequently accompanied by entertainment.

The sky walk was shorter than I expected but still made me walk it very cautiously. the swirl cones were as good as ever.

Not cabin but the two production shows were the best I have seen on a cruise. SILK a folk legend with life sized puppets plus singing and dancing. and Encore with fabulous singing and dancing, an orchestra and a fabulous soprano. The section where all the men sang gave goosebumps.
