We are a retired couple in the Galveston area Thought we would try the newer ship. I never expect the main courses too be exceptional but always the desserts. Not this time The main entrees and sides were excellent but the desserts were awful. My creame brûlée was basically scrambled eggs. The lido deck made some excellent rice combinations but agin the desserts fell short. Do not get off the ship in Jamaica just enjoy the pools and the sky ride. We had anytime dining but ended up going to dinner at the same time with the same servers as they were awesome. The hidden gem is the Asian restaurant which you get to through the buffet area. Love carnivals version of a cosmopolitan. It is delicious. Camp Ocean did an excellent job with our grandchildren. Kudos to the cruise director Matt. He was always upbeat friendly and very visible.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8D

This cabin has a smaller than normal balcony. This was not detected from the deck plans. Two people could not sit comfortably on the balcony. Definitely bring an egg crate the beds are hard as a rock.
