Our cabin was great.  More than enough room for the 2 of us. It was immaculate at all times with towel service, refrigerator service, and very nice attendants who never failed to say hello and ask about our day.

Vry educational and the food served was exceptional. I probably never would have asked for kangaroo meat pie, emu eggroll, crocodile hand pie, ,burrumundi kebabs, or caesar salad with crocodile bits. And did I mentuion the lemon cakes? All was present by an aboriginal Warriors. Inc. group to benefit all aboriginal children.

Again a little disappointed in the length of the train ride due to bus schedule.

The wineries were nice with a lunch provided. Overall, the length of time that the trip required on a bus was not conducive to seeing anything else of Wellington.

This was a highlight of our tours. Well worth the bus ride.

This stop was informative, and picture worthy.  It gave us a chance to stretch our legs, see some scenery, and have an ice cream.  Worth the stop.

We enjoyed the tour, but in many ways it was just another bus tour.

Big city capitol with lots of different architecture.  Basically your ordinary city tour, but with not very good directions if you wanted time to look around before finding the shuttles back to the ship. Might have been better with a tour guide added to the driver.

Our guide started our bus drive by educating us in Maori culture and what to expect at our destination. We learned and later performed a ritual song and felt prepared to be accepted onto their settlement.  If interested in the Maori culture, please take this tour.. Two places were visited, the last being a school  where we were entertained by students(14 - 17) in traditional dress.  This tour is at the top of our list.

A great guide, with lots to say about the benefits of good living in Napier. It was fun to look at: artsy, deco, and clean.  Would have liked time on the ground to look around, but tour schedules got in the way. The return to the ship was delightful with the vintage cars and folks entertaining in vintage dress with a brass trio. I had never heard ragtime and songs through a bull horn.  THAT WAS FUN AND A WONDERFUL END TO THE DAY!  Even some of the ships officers and entertainers were out to welcome us back.

The first winery was nice, but the second, The Abbey was outstanding. Surrounded by flowers, trees, and grapevines, it was shady, floral, and completely right for wine tasting. The Abbey was also bringing out it's beer brewing experience. Good good place!

We had taken a river cruise with Viking and were happy with the experience.Viking could easily become our cruise line of choice, depending on destinations and itineraries.
