We were a party of 8 adults and 7 children ranging from 14 to 2. We chose this cruise based on dates and ship description. The ship met our expectations. Clean, good food, very friendly staff. There was never a dull moment. Always something to do. We made reservations for the skypad and lazer tag in advance. The children loved the water slide and flow rider. The line was not bad and moved quickly. It's January so the pool water was chilly but the children didn't care. The wind was a bit chilly. I would not recommend nor book a January cruise for the Bahamas again. When the wind wasn't blowing, it was nice. But the ship is moving on the cruising day so we had wind all day. But a jacket and a towel solved the problem. Our dining room attendants were especially great with the children. We ate in the dining room every night. Very good food. Excellent service. We chose the Blue Lagoon Beach Day and it was excellent. Half of our group chose the dolphin swim and it was excellent as well. It was not very crowded and the water was crystal clear. Quite beautiful. Our day in Cococay was cancelled due to wind, which I found out is an issue in January. We were very disappointed as we were looking so forward to a warm day in the sun. The bad part was that we were at Cococay waiting for the announcement that we could leave the ship when the captain made the announcement that they were cancelling our day. They did their best to provide us with activities for the day and we made the best of it. We were there to have a fun family vacation and that's what we did. Guest services provided great service. We had a few hiccups with some charges and they took care of it. We were in balcony cabins near the front of the ship. No motion problems. The cabins were nice and clean. The ships promanade is beautiful. Never extremely crowded. We saw a magic show and juggling act. Both were great. We were not able to purchase any photos due to computer issues. We were very disappointed as this was our first cruise as a family. I will say, your cruise will be what you make of it. For my husband and I, this was our 6th cruise, For our children and grandchildren, it was their 1st cruise. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely book with RC again.
