This was our first cruise experience. We were a large group of extended family and while it served its purpose to be together but have our own space, I've never experienced such attitude in the hospitality industry. There were multiple errors in planning from special events coordination, spa services, excursions, and accounting across the board. Each experience with service was equally disappointing. It's not as if they even tried to make it right nor was there an apology for each error - each service rep deferred to another department or person who then didn't correct the issue who then deferred again. The result was more than 5 hours of my vacation managing the cruise lines errors and then poor service. Then, we were charged incorrectly for almost everything. I found $1200 in auditing it all - again, never one apology. The spa even tried to up charge and suggest we had a different service despite our receipts showing differently - I had to argue with truth and evidence on my side. it is a service model for the masses, hoping that guests are too drunk to pay attention to detail.

The attitude at the Teen Club just about made us jump overboard. The attendants there were so incredibly rude when we checked in for our kids - we are on a huge ship out to sea and they wouldn't allow us in the door to check in or get them (there was no other way to connect with no phones working). No adults rules we understand, but the attitude received with it was UNBELIEVABLE. Highly recommend bringing walkee-talkees for safety on such a large ship if you have kids.

Corporate should retrain their staff on how to manage service and they all need an attitude adjustment. This was a once in a lifetime family group reunion and while cruising worked for the group, I will not choose a cruise for my immediate family again. Read more
