We chose the NCL Breakaway because of the destinations and because of the easy access to the port of New Orleans. We came in a day early from Chicago to have some fun on Boubon Street. Our friends actually drove to New Orleans and we met them on the ship. We all went on NCL many years ago and wanted to try it again. We liked the open dining options and free perks we were offered. This cruise was more casual then others we've gone on but that was ok with us. I got a massage with on board credit. It was the best massage I have ever had (Thanks Tabitha!!!) I can't begin to describe that fantastic entertainment. The comedy club and the two comedians were awesome. The shows in the theatre were right up our alley. We saw "Rock of Ages", "Burn the Floor" and the unbelievable Queen Tribute show. We did see Cirque Dreams which we paid extra for. The show was Very Good but the chairs were sooooooo uncomfortable. Sitting through dinner (which was average) and then watching the talented acrobats gave us bleacher butts! All the other performances in the various venues were so fun. We went to an 80s Prom! The Howl at the Moon was one of our favorite places on board. My favorite destination was Harvest Caye! We were never told that this is NCLs private island but it is and it is AWESOME! There is so much to do here and it is just gorgeous. Everyone who geta off the ship here will have a good time! Ziplines, paddle boarding, sand volleyball were fun, but the pool and swim up bar is unbelievable! On the whole, this was my all time FAVORITE cruise. I loved it so much and have raved on and on that I convinced my son and his girlfriend to go on it in March.

Family Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B4

Our room had plenty of room. We enjoyed our triangular shaped balcony which gave us extra room. Also, compared to other ships , I did not feel cramped. The bathroom was a decent size.
