Sail Date: Mar 2018
Cabin: French Balcony

We took the pre-cruise Amsterdam extension to explore our departure city and see area attractions. A pre-cruise extension also serves to help adjust to time differences and flights prior to boarding the cruise ship. A Viking host was available daily for consultation and recommended restaurants, city tours, and any services needed. The Hotel Movenpick was centrally located for walking tours and provided very good accommodations.

All transfers were included along our itinerary and as always Viking was exceptional with every detail. All was as promised and expected. This was our second cruise on the Mimir.

Our cabin was comfortable, on-board dining and service throughout the cruise was superb, and evening activities were interesting and informative.

Cabin Review

French Balcony

Cabin D

Our middle deck stateroom on the Mimir had a French balcony which was fine for the time of year we travelled. A balcony is an added pleasure in warm weather. During past cruises we've had the opportunity to stay in an explorer suite, a stateroom with a veranda, and our experience with all accommodations has been excellent. The beds are comfortable, the crew members are very attentive to guests, you have a view of the river, private bath, and free Internet or Wi-Fi. No cabin is that distant from ship activities.
