We sailed the end of September and early October 2018 (not a choice in date sailed box).
Never been to Sweden before. Best part was post cruise, wine tasting stops, "Highlights of the Alps" and Zermatt. Hotel Alex in Zermatt was exceptional I would highly recommend the post tour and Hotel Alex! The weather was clear and the Matterhorn was spectacular!
This was our 5th Viking River Cruise segment ( Grand European, France's Finest, Paris to Switzerland) and we got the level of service and food that we have come to expect from our other cruises. We also like the ability to bring wine on board for our room. First Class!
