We always wanted to go to Europe, but didn't want to go alone since we don't speak any languages besides English. This was the perfect way to see so much, have wonderful experiences, and truly leave the worries at home. Viking met us at the airport in Barcelona, managed our luggage, took us to the ship, and made it very relaxing. Once on board, the accommodations were exquisite, the food was marvelous, and the staff was very attentive to our needs. The included excursions were very well planned. The extra excursions offered were good values for what they included. We were definitely overwhelmed with the quality of the vacation. If we had to change one thing, we would have upgraded our airfare to first class so we would have been more well-rested after traveling all night. The coach flights on Delta were nice, but the seats were quite confining for two tall people. So we were worn out for our first night in Barcelona and spent it aboard ship. I would recommend getting the larger cabin that includes the silver beverage package. It is well worth the money if you enjoy fine wine. I can't wait to explore with Viking again.

Cabin Review

Cabin penthouse veranda

This cabin size was very roomy. The bathroom and shower had plenty of room. Loved to walk out and have coffee or a glass of wine on the balcony. The king size bed was extremely comfortable. The room service was 24 hour availability. The room steward went above and beyond. This class of room included free ironing of garments so we always looked fresh.
