Fantastic dining, fabulous musicians (Viking Trio). Outstanding excursions and itinerary. Comfortable stateroom.

Viking ocean exceeded our expectations. Having been on more than a dozen cruises, we are pretty hard to impress. The Dining Room manager more than accommodated vegetarian menu requests by having a vegetarian "soup for one" prepared every night for dinner. He also worked with the chef to create entrees that were unusual. Menu diversity is generally limited on cruises, not true on Viking Star. The Chef and staff went above and beyond to meet our requests.

Cabin life was comfortable, storage was limited but once we organized ourselves it was comfortable. I really loved the cashmere throws available on the bed and in public spaces to help ward of any chill. Read more
