I had taken a number of Viking River Cruises and they were great, so I decided to take one of their Ocean Cruises, and it was wonderful, all that I expected. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food on board was excellent, with so many varieties of dishes and numerous "Alternative" dining options. The ship and the cabin were clean and well appointed, and being that the cruise was over the Holiday season (Christmas and New Years'), it was tastefully decorated. The ports we visited were great, the excursions were very good and the guides were very knowledgeable, with so much information. I only wish the time in a few of the ports could have been longer. There was a variety of entertainment on board and the "Port Talks" were very helpful in planning time in the various ports.

I enjoyed the cruise so much I have already made reservations for my next ocean cruise, this time alittle longer.
